Canberra Dance Festival is now widely recognised as an enjoyable, friendly and efficient Festival with the emphasis on sharing our love of Dance rather than competition.

Catrina Ralph - Adjudicator
Cat is a professional dancer, freelance choreographer and teacher based between Sydney and the South Coast. She is intensively trained in a wide variety of styles - from ballet to hip hop, from Fosse repertoire to latin styles - which has greatly influenced the versatility of her personal style and choreography.
Cat has toured professionally in the Australian ensemble of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and recently wrapped up work as a cabaret/variety artist at The Emerald Room in Darlinghurst. Within the musical theatre realm, she has also played iconic dance roles in musicals such as the titular role of Charity in Sweet Charity (Arcadians), Cassie in A Chorus Line (So Popera Productions), Annie in Chicago, Cha Cha in Grease, and the Cyd Charisse originated role of the Broadway Soloist in Singin’ in the Rain.
Most recently, Cat choreographed esteemed local community theatre group So Popera’s Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as Brent Street’s rendition of Little Women for the musical theatre course.
Across her teaching career, Cat has mentored at over 25 different dance studios and schools. Currently, she teaches at a few of the most prestigious full-time performing arts courses in the country. She also loves the opportunity to foster local South Coast talent. Cat is excited to witness the energy and artistry that Canberra has to offer!
