Canberra Dance Festival is now widely recognised as an enjoyable, friendly and efficient Festival with the emphasis on sharing our love of Dance rather than competition.

Claudia Hastings - Teacher/Adjudicator
Claudia began her ballet training in Arizona at the Yen Li Chen Ballet school, before moving to Australia at 15 where she completed full-time studies at Queensland National Ballet and Ev and Bow culminating in the opportunity to perform with The Royal Ballet in their Brisbane tour.
Claudia has worked with Opera Australia since 2018 performing in shows such as; Aida, Anna Bolena, Best of the Operas and Atilla. In 2018, Claudia won the female prize at the Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix, which led to her completing a short term traineeship with Sydney Dance Company, as well as performing in multiple productions with Projection Dance Company under the direction of Tim Podesta.
Claudia traveled to Oman to be a part of the creation of Lakme with world renowned director Davide Livermore and The Royal Opera House of Muscat. Claudia has most recently completed a tour performing in The Phantom of the Opera.
